How does Botox® help?

• Botox® relaxes the jaw muscles to prevent clenching which many patients find dramatically reduces their pain, discomfort, and even headache frequency/severity

• Therapeutic Botox® is injected into the muscles of the head and jaw. To ensure the best placement, Dr. Brooks uses EMG-guidance for these injections.

• The injections feel like a small pinch and the entire procedure only takes about 20 minutes.

• Symptoms begin to improve 7-10 days after the procedure

• Patients typically experience symptom relief for 4-6 months, but results can vary
